Duane and his wife, Nan, traveled over 3000 miles during their two-week road trip in August. They went up to Crater Lake, then drove through the Columbia Gorge to Mt. St. Helens and Astoria. On the way down the Oregon coast, they stopped to see Jim and Ella Markham at their other home in Arch Cape, Oregon. They finished the trip by going through the California Redwoods.
