This photo of Kayla was taken when she was almost four weeks old - when Jill and Bruce brought her to the Library Picnic.

most of us were taking time off to travel and see new sights, Bruce and
his wife, Jill, stayed home and gave birth to Kayla Anne Machado.
Kayla, weighing in at 7 pounds 12 ounces, was born at the couple's home
on August 14th. The proud
parents brought their first child to the Information Services
Department and are shown in the photo below with librarians Janet
