Drop-in Hours

The DREAM Lab offers walk-in hours throughout the academic year for UCSB affiliates to access the lab space. You may use our high-powered workstations and on-site restricted resources. Get help accessing our data collections. Or ask-us-anything about data and analysis software.

As a general rule, we are open noon to 8, Sunday through Thursday, and noon to 5, Friday and Saturday. For details and exceptions, see the Library hours.

Appointments & Reservations:

For eligible users (UCSB faculty, currently enrolled students, staff)

  • Request a consultation by emailing dreamlab@library.ucsb.edu. Consultations may be scheduled between 9am and 5pm, Monday through Friday, depending on staff availability. 
  • Request to reserve the space and technology for DREAM Lab-related work (user group meetings, project team work, individual projects) Monday through Friday, by emailing dreamlab@library.ucsb.edu. Please check the posted calendar for availability prior to making a request. We do have a few reservation and access policies.
  • Weekend appointments are not available at this time.
