Library Catalog: Find Books Using Advanced Search

Many advanced features can help you refine your search. For example, several search terms can be combined, and searches can be limited by various fields such as date or language.

Click on the Advanced Search link below the Catalog search box.

Select the Advanced Search option from the catalog home page.

Construct your search by combining fields like keyword, author, and/or title. You may also limit your search by year, location, format, or language. Click the "Search" button at the bottom after you have constructed your search.

Combine search terms and limit by date, location, document type, and language.

Select the number under "Total."  Choose your desired title from the list. You can click on the number next to that title to see its full record. Select the call number to check for circulation status. You can also see whether or not the library's copy has been checked by looking on the right. "1/0" means the library owns one copy and that copy has not been checked out.  "1/1" means the library owns one copy and that copy has been checked out.

Choose your desired title from the list.
