Internet Resources for California Government
Contents:
The Library at the University of California, Santa Barbara, has been a complete
depository for California State publications since 1972 and a selective depository since the
1950s. Most of these publications are cataloged
and can be found by using UCSB's online catalog, Pegasus or
UC's catalog, Melvyl. They are
located in the Government Information Center on the 1st floor of the Davidson
Library, and are arranged by California Document
Classification number order. The collection consists of publications
covering a broad spectrum of interests, such as water quality, air pollution,
bilingual education, AIDS, welfare, the budget, annual reports from California
state agencies, legislative materials, statistical information, crime, and
health issues.

Directory of elected and major appointed officials in each branch of California government as well as
California counties and cities.
- Office of the Governor
Includes links to speeches, biography, appointees, latest political issues, etc.
- Your Legislature. Find your legislator: enter your zip code
to find what Legislators represent your area.
- State Representatives for the Santa Barbara Area
- California State Senate: the 19th District
Senate District 19 includes the Northwest corner of Los Angeles County including the cities of Chatsworth, Granada Hills,
Northridge, Stevenson Ranch and Castaic. The Ventura County portion of the 19th Senate District includes the cities of
Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley, Oxnard, Moorpark, Camarillo, Fillmore and Port Hueneme. Legislative reapportionment has added
Santa Barbara County to the 19th Senate District, including the cities of Santa Barbara, Lompoc, Carpinteria, Montecito,
Goleta, Santa Ynez, Orcutt and Vandenberg Air Force Base.

(California Building Standards) is published separately and not part of this CCR website."

"The slip opinions published by the California Supreme Court and the California
Courts of Appeal in the last sixty days are posted here in full text. Supreme Court
opinions, which the court normally files at 10 a.m. on Mondays and Thursdays, are
posted immediately after filing. Court of Appeal opinions are posted within hours of
filing. Each opinion is provided in Word 6.0 and Adobe Acrobat formats."
