The accepted authority on the evolution of the English language.  Includes the meaning, history, and pronunciation of words.

Indexes public opinion polls and contains the full text of questions and responses from surveys conducted in the U.S. and 80 other countries.

PsycInfo

Covers the international literature in psychology, the behavioral sciences, and related disciplines.  Useful for many areas of social science research.

Rand California

A collection of think-tank reports on California and U.S. public policy with an emphasis on statistics.
