Video Collection

Alphabetical List

Subject List

This represents an important and essential part of our collection, which covers a wide
range of subjects in the field of Chicano history, literature, education, art, religion and
culture. The video collection is a medium utilized in the various classes on campus as
well as by individuals.

Most videos were purchased in the representative format of the time. Therefore, some are
only available in ¾ in. U-matic. But the great majority, as noted, is in ½ in. VHS format.
Two lists are available, one fully indexed by multiple subjects, the second one by title
order.

The videos are housed in the Government Information Center, 1st floor of the Davidson
Library, and available to UCSB affiliates for check out. You will find them listed in
Pegasus, the on-line catalog for UCSB, and the California Digital Library.
