How to Renew Library Materials
You can instantly renew your library materials online in
Pegasus.
- Sign into Your Account (see How to Sign-In to Your Account).
- Click on Loans under the heading Activities. Library materials checked out on your account will display.

- If you want to renew everything you have, click on the Renew
All button. This process will
automatically renew all eligible items. To renew an individual item, simply click on that item's line number.

- If you choose Renew all, you'll see a Renewal Request Results window which will display a list of NON-RENEWED items, with brief info on why the item could not be renewed.

- To renew an individual item, simply click on that item's line number. A window will open, displaying additional information. Look for the "RENEW" link; if no link is available,
the item is not eligible for online renewal (see below for example).

- To view new due dates, go back and click on Loans again. If you receive any indication
that items were not renewed, contact the circulation desk (805 893 3491) and speak with a staff member.

You are eligible to renew your materials up to 5 times beyond the original
due date. The system will not allow you to renew past this limit.
Interlibrary Loan (ILL) and Course Reserve materials are NOT eligible for renewal via Your Account. ILL renewals may be submitted to
http://www.library.ucsb.edu/forms/renewill.html. For Reserve items,
please inquire at the reserve desk where the item was checked out.
The renewals submitted via Your Account are
instantaneous and done directly on the computer. All revised due dates will
show immediately. You will not receive additional confirmation of the activity.
When you're finished with your session, don't forget to click on
Sign-out.
