How to Request an item listed as IN-PROCESS in Pegasus

You can place a request for materials  listed as IN-Process through the request link on Pegasus:
  1. Find a record in Pegasus that has an IN-PROCESS status indicated in the Library & call no. column.
     
  2. Click on the in-process link:

  3. A second browser window will open. This new window displays "UCSB Holdings" information. If the item is eligible for request, the request link will display in the left-most box of the table. Click on the request link.

  4. Another browser window will open: Enter your Access/library ID card barcode & password and click send. (More information about passwords and signing on to Pegasus is available at How to Sign-in to "Your Account").

  5. Enter any additional information (optional):.

    • Pickup/delivery location shows a pull-down menu, but will have the home library (specific to the item) as the ONLY option.
    • "Not Needed After" date is to indicate when the request would be cancelled, if for some reason it takes more than a few days to supply.
    • Additional information may be added if helpful to the request.

     
    Then click on the send button.

  6. A "Your Request Has Been Registered" message will display in a new window when your request has been successfully submitted. Error messages will display when request has not been submitted.
