The Curriculum Lab serves as one of 25 display centers in California for state-adopted textbooks and instructional materials (grades K-8). Known as the Learning Resources Display Center (LRDC), this collection allows educators in Santa Barbara County to preview instructional materials submitted for state adoption and to view those resources that have been adopted by the California State Board of Education. Since the Curriculum Lab is bound by legal contract to have these materials on display, items in the LRDC do not circulate unless there is more than one copy. The following links provide further information on California state adoptions.
