Floors Currently Closed for Construction: 5 & 6

For several weeks, floors 5 & 6 will be temporarily closed to the public.

4th Floor to Close on April 21

The 4th floor will temporarily close to the public for a few weeks starting April 21.

7th & 8th Floors Re-opened; Changes to Restrooms

The 7th & 8th floors have re-opened to the public. Please note changes to the restrooms.

"Late Night Study in Corwin" During Finals (Mar. 15-18)

UC Santa Barbara Library and the UCen are again sponsoring “Late Night Study in Corwin” during finals week.

Perimeter Fence to be Erected this Week

Fencing is being erected around the Library this week to mark off the construction site in preparation for groundbreaking.

Library Building Project Featured in Museum Exhibition

Currently on view at UCSB's Art, Design & Architecture Museum is "Unbuilt UCSB," an exhibition that displays building projects and designs that were intended for the UC Santa Barbara campus but never constructed or have yet to be completed.

Countdown to the Closing of the Two-Story Building

Partition walls are in the process of being constructed that will fully close off the two-story building to the public for the renovation of that part of the Library.

Curriculum Lab Open in New Location

The Curriculum Lab has completed its move. It is now open in its new permanent location, in the southeast portion of the second floor.

East Entrance to Close June 17

The east entrance will close to the public starting on Monday, June 17 as the Library embarks on a major construction project.
