There will be no off-campus access to Library electronic resources and databases this Friday, November 28 from 6-10pm. Library buildings are also closed for the Thanksgiving holiday during that time.

UCSB Reads Free Book Giveaway (Jan. 15)

On Wed. Jan. 15 at 10am, Chancellor Henry Yang & Dilling Yang, University Librarian Denise Stephens & AS President Jonathan Abboud will distribute free copies of the UCSB Reads 2014 book selection to UCSB students in the Library lobby.

On Exhibit in the Library: Against The Wall: Social Justice and Civil Unrest in California, 1960s-1980s

This exhibition will explore communities of color in California and their struggles for civil rights and social justice in the sixties to the eighties.

Looking for a Student to Curate a Writing Exhibition in Library

The Library and Writing Program are currently looking for an advanced undergraduate or graduate student to work during the winter quarter on the curation of an exhibition of the writing process.
