Library Holiday Closure (Sun. Dec. 22 - Wed. Jan. 1)

The UCSB Library will be closed for the winter holidays from Sunday, Dec. 22 through Wednesday, Jan. 1. During this time both the Davidson Library (including late night study) and the Arts Library will be closed.

Winter recess hours will be in effect from Sat., Dec. 14 through Sun. Jan. 5. The Library will be closed from Sun. Dec. 22 - Wed. Jan. 1.

The Fall issue of The Lens newsletter for faculty and scholars is out.

Student Flu Shot Clinics at the Library (Nov. 6 & Dec. 4)

There will be two flu shot clinics at the Library: Wednesday, November 6th from 1-3 pm and Wednesday, Dec 4 from 1-3pm.

Looking for a Student to Curate a Writing Exhibition in Library

The Library and Writing Program are currently looking for an advanced undergraduate or graduate student to work during the winter quarter on the curation of an exhibition of the writing process.

UCSB Reads Selection Announced

The UCSB Library and the Office of the Executive Vice Chancellor are excited to announce the selection of a book for UCSB Reads 2014: "The Big Burn: Teddy Roosevelt and the Fire that Saved America" (Mariner Books, 2010) by Timothy Egan.
