The UCSB Library collections are interdisciplinary and were developed to support the UCSB academic programs. In addition to more than three million print volumes, the collections include a range of formats that include manuscripts, sound recordings, cartography, and digital resources. The library collaborates with other UC libraries to acquire and provide access to the broadest range of resources. The subject librarians who select resources in all formats for the collections can be consulted for specific research needs.
