While certain upper floors are temporarily closed for construction, the Circulation Desk will retrieve requested material from the affected floors. Books located on the closed floors may be requested directly through the Library Catalog by using the Recall/Retrieve button.
Requested items will be retrieved by library staff every 2 hours between 8AM and 8PM Monday – Friday; between 12PM and 6PM Saturday, Sunday, and holidays; and between 10AM and 4PM during breaks. You will be notified by email when your items are available for pickup at the Circulation Desk.
If you do not have a UCSB Library Card or are unable to request your item through the catalog, please use the alternate web retrieval request form. You will be notified by email when your items are available for pickup at the Circulation Desk.
Please note that retrieval requests will only be fulfilled for items which reside on floors which are currently closed.
