Instruction & Training 1312

Description

This room is best utilized for instructional and training purposes and for small conferences, presentations, lectures and screenings. It is equipped with abundant whiteboards and can be darkened with shades.

The maximum occupancy for this room is 77.

Availability

This room can be reserved from 9 am to 7 pm Monday through Friday when it is not in use for Library instruction, training or events.

Technology

A projector and projection screen are available for use in Instruction & Training 1312, to which groups may connect their own laptops. Those with UCSB Library borrowing privileges may check out a laptop at the Services Desk in the Paseo for use with the projector. Library Technology Support Staff are available to meet briefly with you before your meeting to orient you to the equipment.

There is wireless connectivity throughout the Library. UCSB faculty, students, and staff can access the wireless network using their UCSB NetIDs and passwords. Arrangements for wireless Internet access for guests attending your meeting can be arranged at the time of your booking.

Furniture

The default layout for this room is the work group layout, with 13 tables & 26 rolling chairs--shown above and in the attached diagram. Additional furnishings are available in an internal locked storage closet. Arrangements to utilize the additional furniture need to be made with Furniture Services.
