In first segment, man talks about Moses, the Promised Land, and the wandering of the Jewish people. In second segment, man speaks: "This is being recorded on the a, o- -- on an original Edison wax cylinder phonograph to test the recording quality. One, two, three, four, testing, sister Susie is sewing shirts for sick (?) sailors this time. Of course we won't get any S's on this record, but then...." This is recorded over a palimpsest off-the-air recording , which continues beyond the over-recorded portion and is announced at the end: "You have just heard Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto in B flat, played by Freddie Martin and His Orchestra." Martin's well-known arrangement of this piece dates from 1941.
